1. Project Profile
1.1 Enterprise Profile:
Hunan Valin Lianyuan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Lianyuan Iron and Steel) is an important high-quality steel production base in central and southern China. It is a backbone enterprise of Valin Group, one of China's top ten iron and steel enterprises. It was completed and put into production in 1958. After 57 years of development and growth, it now has a production capacity of 8 million tons of steel and a full-process production line from coking, sintering, steelmaking to steelmaking to steelmaking to steel rolling; the product structure is mainly high-tech, high-value-added ultra-thin and high-strength hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils. The "Shuangling" trademark was shortlisted as "China's Top Ten Public Recognition Trademarks" and was recognized as "China's Well-known Trademark" by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce ".

The energy saving and environmental protection benefits generated by the project are (calculated by 8000 hours of operation per year and 0.6 yuan per degree of electricity):
>the average power saving rate is 25.4 percent;
>The annual electricity saving is about 67.07 million kWh, and the direct economic benefit exceeds 40.24 million yuan;
>Save about 20,121 tons of standard coal per year and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 58,485 tons.
