This project involves the sintering plant, ironmaking plant, steelmaking plant, steel rolling plant, coking plant, power plant supply, circulating water system, more than 100 pumps. Among them, 74 pumps were retrofitted in EPC mode, replacing the original 78 pumps.

Jiangsu Shagang Group Huaigang Special Steel Co., Ltd. has total assets of 8 billion yuan and 5800 employees, including 3000 professional and technical personnel. The company produces 3 million tons of special steel and materials such as spring steel, bearing steel, marine anchor chain steel, alloy pipe blank steel and automobile steel annually.
1.2 Project Overview:
This project involves the sintering plant, ironmaking plant, steelmaking plant, steel rolling plant, coking plant, power plant supply, circulating water system, more than 100 pumps. Among them, 74 pumps were retrofitted in EPC mode, replacing the original 78 pumps.
2. Transformation results
2.1 transformation before and after the data comparison:
The energy saving and environmental protection benefits generated by the project are (calculated by 8000 hours of operation per year and 0.6 yuan per degree of electricity):
>the average power saving rate is 33.1 percent;
>The annual electricity saving is about 31.62 million kWh, and the direct economic benefit exceeds 18.97 million yuan;
>About 9,487 tons of standard coal are saved each year and more than 27,576 tons of CO2 emissions are reduced.
