Micro-mixing (Micromixer) combustion technology

Micro-mixing burner (Micromixer Burner, MM) is a kind of fuel and oxidant in micro-scale after mixing combustion organization technology. The mixing space of a typical micro-mixing burner is composed of a micro-scale straight tube, which is enclosed by a front panel and a rear panel, as shown in Figure 1 [1]. Since air and fuel are mixed on a very small scale, a high degree of mixing can be achieved, reducing NOx emissions. Due to the quenching effect of small tube diameter, the micro-mixed reactor has high anti-flashback performance, especially suitable for hydrogen and other active fuels [2]. Figure 2 and Figure 3 are the structural diagrams of the actual application of the micro-mixing combustion chamber.
