In order to solve the problems existing in the production of grate air coolers, improve market competition and contribute to the GDP growth of the whole province, Hunan Ningxiang Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd. has found Shanghai Rychen Environmental Protection, which has reformed its 3200t/d circulating fan and kiln tail fan and achieved good results, to carry out energy-saving technical reform of grate air coolers.
Hunan Ningxiang Southern Cement Co., Ltd. is a key enterprise subordinate to China Building Materials Group Southern Cement Co., Ltd., and is a backbone enterprise of new dry process cement production in Hunan Province.
In order to solve the problems existing in the production of grate air coolers, improve market competition and contribute to the GDP growth of the whole province, Hunan Ningxiang Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd. has found Shanghai Rychen Environmental Protection, which has reformed its 3200t/d circulating fan and kiln tail fan and achieved good results, to carry out energy-saving technical reform of grate air coolers.
The project officially started in December 2018. After field visits, technical seminars, and on-site installation, the project was completed in March 2019.
All the 10 grate air coolers have reached the operating efficiency required in the contract, all higher than 80%, and the clinker temperature control is better than before, and the results of technological transformation have been recognized by customers.

In recent years, with the improvement of cement kiln line for many times, the clinker output of 5000t/d kiln system has reached 6500t/d. The current grate cooler system has seriously restricted the clinker quality and energy utilization after raising.
The grate cooler is an important cooling equipment in the cement production line. The hot clinker is discharged from the pit mouth to the grate bed, and pushed by the grate plate, a material layer of a certain thickness is formed on the grate bed. The wind blown by the grate cooler blows upward into the material layer from below the material layer to cool the clinker.
If the temperature of the clinker from the grate cooler is high, it will lead to uneven clinker agglomeration and "red river" phenomenon in the grate cooler. At the same time, the heat recovery efficiency of the grate cooler is low, resulting in great energy waste.
The lack of air volume and air pressure of grate cooler is one of the main reasons for the high discharge temperature of grate cooler.
In order to solve the problems of clinker quality and energy utilization after production, in view of the customer's proposal of "reasonable configuration, stable operation and low noise value; The wind pressure design needs to reduce the dynamic pressure loss and improve the static pressure capacity. The fan has high efficiency and wide high efficiency zone" and other requirements for the transformation of the grate cooler. Rychen Environmental Protection has been developing and designing continuously, and the "Rui Chang" series of high-efficiency grate coolers are coming strongly.
